So i cant recall how i scored a Diamond account on listdotcom but i have one. What this allows me to do is email 5000 random people every two days. There are a few other things that listdotcom allows me to do, but im not terribly interested in this.
What happens when you sign up, is you start to receive hundreds of emails from other members eager to get you to read their email and buy whatever it is they are promoting. I know i read maybe… 5% of all listdotcom emails i get, the rest go straight into the bin. So i thought i would start a poll, and since i didn’t pay for the membership (which is normally something like $80US a month!) i don’t mind wasting my emails on sending out a “please take my poll” email every two days. I might reword the thing every time tho to see what works and what doesn’t. So i guess this could also be an experiment in email copy writing!
I sent the first one yesterday. As you can see, 2 votes! wow!. that is 2 out of 5000 hmm. Now i guess there could be a few reasons for that, my copy could of been horrible (which it was), maybe they dont actually send out 5000 emails, or maybe it just takes a few days to actually send them all as there is 100′s of thousands of members all doing the same thing at the same time? We’ll see how it goes, i might send out another one tomorrow.
